Skewer is an image editing software written in processing which allows you to apply effects to images and export them as animated gifs.

It offers standard features such as hue, contrast, brightness and several filters but it also allows you intentionally process the image incorrectly by miscounting pixels or misplacing texture mesh points as well as laying filters over each other to create glitch animations.

Instead of having to break the images yourself the software makes this features available through a simple interface of sliders and buttons.
