Hack@Brookes is a 24 hour hackathon where problem solving is the name of the game. Join us from Friday 12th February at 19:00 at Oxford Brookes University’s iconic John Henry Brookes Building to collaborate, hack and learn something new. It doesn’t matter what your background is, our inspirational speakers will give you something to think about and we offer workshops for both beginners and those who are a little more in the know. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST

Nothing! Hack@Brookes is completely free for attendees. We will also be providing free food and drinks throughout the event so there’s no need to worry. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide travel reimbursements at the moment, but stay tuned.

WHAT IF I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE?

Fret not, we got you covered. Hack@Brookes will also be having several workshops on programming, design and a bunch of other topics. There will also be talks on various topics by experienced individuals, so there’s a lot to learn in case you’re a beginner.

WHAT IF I DON’T HAVE A TEAM OR AN IDEA?

That’s not an issue. Many people who come to hackathons don’t have a team or an idea in hand already. We have a team building event where we will help hackers connect with each other and find the right people or their ideas.
