The NEData meetups at Campus North is for all those interested in open data or intrigued by open data.
The meetups will hear from people and organisations that have used open data, some practical ways of using open data and what datasets we’d like to see opened up by Councils and others.
These events will be a monthly meetup with presentations from people across the UK who are doing some brilliant things with open data.
Come along if you’re interested in open data, want to help build and grow the community or whether you’re just intrigued by open data. Our events are a collaboration with James Rutherford from NE Sparks who has delivered a number of hackathons across the region.
There’ll be a few presentations on the night with beers and other refreshments.
We’d love to see you there!
At our next meetup we’ll look at cultural and arts data, projects and opportunities.
Confirmed Talks:
- Lisa Clarke – North Tyneside Council
- Catherine Johns– Satellite Applications Catapult
- Sally Kerr – Edinburgh Apps and open data across the city
