Rocky Bytes, a company well known for its informative reviews and news on all the latest games and programs, is proud to present the first ever Bytes that Rock Annual Software Awards. Bytes That Rock is an event committed to bring worldwide recognition the software and blogs that have achieved excellence in the market with their hard work, effort, dedication.
- The aim is to award and bring recognition to those who deserve it most within the software industry.
- The public and the team of well-respected judges will choose the best and most innovative games, programs and blogs of the last 12 months.
- Entry is open for all developers and blog owners to apply to be considered as nominees accordingly in any of the 11 categories.
The public and a committee of expert judges will choose the best games, programs and blogs of the last 12 months. After deciding a shortlist of 12 nominees in each of the 11 categories eventually an overall winner, a runner up and a third place will be chosen to be awarded their respective Bytes that Rock coveted gold, silver and bronze seals.
Submissions are completely free and can be made from the public, relevant companies and developers online via the website on or before the 16th of November 2015.
These highly sought after awards have the cooperation of expert judges in the field:
- Edward Chester: a technology journalist, well respected in his field currently working for Trusted Reviews and previously Bit Tech specializing in PC hardware, mobile phones and software.
- David Gracia: Programmer, video game developer, head and founder of Crystalizer games, and winner of a prestigious Game Jam award in 2013, he is also a huge computer game enthusiast.
- Adam Singleton: The leading software review writer at Rocky Bytes, Video game fanatic and one of only a handful of people to complete the GTA V online criminal masterminds challenge.
Nominees are presented in categories organized as shown below:
- Software: Best PC Software, Best Software UI, Most Innovative Software, Best Protection Software and Best Open Source Software.
- Games: Best PC Games, Best Indie Games and Best Independent Mods for Games.
- Blogs: Best Software Blogs, Best Game Blogs and Best Security Blogs.
