Co-Create, in cooperation with the port of Antwerp, is organizing a logistics hackathon aimed at creating (IT) innovations for the improvement of the operational efficiency of the Port of Antwerp.
This hackathon will be the biggest of its kind and will further showcase the innovative character of the city of Antwerp and the Port of Antwerp. It will show us what start-ups and scale-ups can contribute to the logistical sector!
We hereby invite the harbour community to spread this message amongst its members and employees, and other people who could benefit from participating in this hackathon or could contribute to its success.
This first-ever Antwerp based logistics hackathon focuses on the following 4 themes:
- Smart Tech
- Import and export
- Mobility
- Logistics and Infrastructure
The hackathon will start on December 9th from 4.15pm and will end on December 11th at 7.30pm. We welcome everyone with an entrepreneurial mindset to contribute as a participant to help the industry evolve! An affinity with logistics and the port is welcomed but not mandatory.
The Closing Ceremony on Sunday December 11th will start at 1.45pm and will be the highlight of the hackathon! The teams will pitch their ideas to the public and to a jury. Following the awards ceremony, dinner at 7.30pm will be an ideal opportunity for networking with the talents of tomorrow! At 9pm we kick off our after-party which will last until the early hours. If you are unable to attend the hackathon itself, we would be very happy to welcome you for this event where current and future important logistical and maritime players will be present!
