Calling all makers and Arduino enthusiasts!
Collecting data about our activity, health and well-being has never been easier. Steps, heart rate and sleep data is all at the touch of your fingers thanks to the latest smart watch, phone or gadget.
But what could your health sound like?
Could heart beats be reimagined as drum beats?
Could brain waves become sound waves?
Could step rates become basslines?
Join us at MadLab for a hack to explore these ideas and meet like-minded people from the science, tech, research and maker community. Bring your Arduino skills, creativity, and an open mind.
Free to sign up. Prizes, pizza and beer on offer! This event is for Adults (18+).
6-8pm, Friday 29th July: Mixer and team formation
10-7pm, Saturday 30th July: Hack, judging and prizes.
Brought to you by The University of Manchester and Manchester Metropolitan University, in collaboration with the Manchester Robot Orchestra. Images, audio and videos will be recorded at this event for reporting and publicity purposes.
